Dongguan non-standard parts processing die competitiveness determines product vitality

March 7th at 10:39am

Mold experts believe that the adoption of advanced mold technology is the inevitable trend to adapt to the fierce competition, and improving the competitiveness of mold itself to meet the needs of the market is the most important. It is the requirement of mold industry development and the voice of automobile and other industries to improve the high precision of mold.

Strengthen the understanding of mold accuracy concept

1. Die refers to the precision forming tool used for batch forming, stamping and other products. Mould precision includes the precision of parts obtained in machining and the quality consciousness of ensuring the precision of products in production. But generally speaking, mould precision mainly refers to the precision of working parts of mould.

The concept of accuracy in mold machining refers to the degree of conformity between the actual geometric parameters and the design geometric parameters after the machining and assembly of mold parts.

The concept of precision in mould production refers to the various thinking modes and quality consciousness formed gradually in the production practice of the enterprise staff to guide the production behavior of the staff, that is, in the behavior of the enterprise staff, the quality consciousness of grasping the product precision is always implemented.

2. The content of mould precision includes four aspects: dimension precision, shape precision, position precision and surface precision. Because of the two parts of the upper die and the lower die in the working time of the die, the mutual position accuracy between the upper die and the lower die is the most important among the four kinds of accuracy.

When the machining accuracy is very high, the mold often has more than enough force. Now the precision of a very good and precise die is about 0.1-0.01 mm. Compared with the previous die, the precision has been greatly improved. However, components such as engines require accuracy of less than one thousandth of a millimeter, or even less. Therefore, it is impossible to replace the cutting process completely with the die at present.

Now, the surface finish and roughness of the die have been greatly improved. However, the mold itself is also made by machine tools. If the accuracy of the machine tools that make the mold itself cannot pass the standard, the accuracy of the products that are made will not be high.
